- to provide training and orientation for all project staff and partners on disability issues
- to ensure that activities at the local level have a deliberate disability inclusion plan
- Support to organisations dealing with disability can form part of the project capacity development
- Ensure mangrove restoration and management can serve as a point of inclusion for people with disabilities in remote areas of PNG
- Guarantee lessons from the project's efforts to include disability are evaluated and recommendations are made for future projects
- Enable USAID to better include disability provisions in future project opportunities and granting.
MARSH project engagement will encourage persons with disabilities to take on their responsibilities as change agents. Project efforts will help recognize the role that all people in a community can play.
